There are plenty of street fairs in New York City. Most of them pop up out of nowhere and within a few hours are gone without a trace but hundreds of lemonade cups strewn across the avenue. San Gennaro is a little different. For some reason, this street fair stands out above the rest.

NYC | I Like Pig Butts and I Cannot Lie

On Saturday, Kat and I visited the Big Apple Barbecue in Madison Square Park. If you recall, two years ago, I went to my first Big Apple Barbecue with Kat. In that post, I joke about it being a record that we were able to meet up twice in one week. I am proud to announce that Kat and I now hang out ALL THE TIME. It certainly helps that we live only a few blocks away and have a designated meeting spot whenever we have a play date.

Since I work in TriBeCa, I have become excited about The TriBeCa Film Festival the last two years. Not necessarily because of the films (I have a really short attention span and basically watch three movies a year), but because of the celebrity sighting potential (as I mentioned here, I am not a cool New Yorker when it comes to this).
